It seems that this trip did me a lot of good and I've had prolonged period of happiness for an entire week. The last time this happened was months ago. I have a peace in my heart that I really hope never goes away...it's like a wonderful feeling that, even though things may be bleak and dismal at times I don't have to worry, as if someone else is watching over me from above. That doesn't mean I won't ever have to worry in my life. But as I posted in my journal a week ago I knew the direction that I needed to take in my life, and so far after a week of doing what I know I need to do, life has been enjoyable for a prolonged period of time.

For those of you who know me, I've had periods of happiness for a day or two straight in the past, but this has been for a week and it's a completely different kind of happiness. I'm starting to get a stronger sense of morality and my conscience is coming back to me on a lot of issues that are morality "not right". I haven't felt my conscience be this strong in about 10 years...I guess you could ultimately say that my spiritual life is making a comeback. On top of all this, I got my old job back so I can start over "money wise" too.

I'm happy, and I've never felt this way in a very long time. ;_;
